September

We had quite a few members out at our last meeting. We discussed a bit about our upcoming fall show (as in fall of 2018) and our Christmas party. Here's a few shots of our meeting.

Donna completed this fun pink and black quilt. The fabrics were donated by the family of a local gal who has gone to heaven. I'm sure Michelle would have loved, loved loved this quilt! It's a little bit rock and roll and little bit cozy tradition. We will be donating this quilt near Christmas.

I was happy to longarm this quilt ... this is a shot of the quilt loaded onto Lucey. I used a pantograph called Mimosa which has a bit of flame look.

Rae shows off a neat wolf quilt with a color sweeping blue/grey. It is really pretty. It was made with a quilt as you go technique.

Marg H. shows off a trio of quilts she made for the guild as well.

I'm happy to have worked on these this week as well. I think they turned out just great! I had some blue cuddle left over from another project. It added a nice touch to Marg's Mahjong. These quilts will find forever homes this winter.

Cynthia was busy making baby quilts

I'm showing off a couple quilts I was able to long arm for the guild.

Audrey shows off a comfort quilt pieced by Sandra - Sandra was away at an art retreat in France!

Audrey is gushing as she shows off this beautiful table runner. The picture doesn't do the piece justice. It has a rich dark green grunge as a border. Lovely.

Sandra shows off her 12 " mini - I believe she is going to add it to the Norva Center's block challenge.

Marg H. Is busy! This is a classic rail fence made with Kansas Troubles fabrics. It is a real treasure.

She also shows off PBQ2 in shimmery asian fabrics.

Lynne always makes stunning quilts. This is a nordic star. Just lovely.I'm sorry I didn't get a shot of the lush teal cuddle she used on the back.

Another shot of our comfort quilts. Rae made up this sweet baby.

Two Cindy's and two table runners

Myrna models a sweet quilted bag

Rae is selling tickets on this great Zen Chic quilt ... she is raising money for the Catholic Women's League upcoming bazaar.
See you next time,
 ~ Sheri
